William N. Hilton was born on August 20, 1916. He was the son of Martin Lee Hilton and Viola Wright Hilton.
William served in the 315th Infantry Regiment, 79th Infantry Division, as a Staff Sergeant during World War II. He was Killed in Action on August 27, 1944, at the age of 28, during the liberation of Vexin, France. SSgt Hilton is now buried in the Baker McGinnis Cemetery, Greenup County, Kentucky, USA.
