William T. White Jr. was born on December 10, 1917, in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. He was the son of William T. White Sr. and Anna F. Leahy White. He worked as a salesman before enlisting in the service on December 30, 1941. He served in the 585th Bomb Squadron, 394th Bomber Group, as a First Lieutenant and Pilot of B-26 #42-96032 during World War II.
1Lt White was Killed in Action on April 8, 1944, after departing on a combat mission when the aircraft crashed en route near Great Dunmow, England, during the war. He is now buried in the New Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA.
