Myron T. Herrick served as the governor of Ohio from 1904-1906. He more notably served as the U.S. Ambassador to France from 1912-1914 and again from 1921-1929. He suffered a fatal heart attck while in office and is the only U.S. Ambassador to have a street named after him in Paris.
