Charles D. Zook, Sr. was born on August 23, 1913. served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a First Lieutenant in the 206th Engineer Combat Battalion. He entered service in Michigan. He died on August 18, 1944, was initially buried at Villeneuve-sur-Auvers in France and is now buried at Alexandria National Cemetery, Alexandria, Alexandria City, Virginia, USA.
