Site is located in the historic center near the top of the hilltop town of Castelforte. Castelforte is located in the most southern portion of the region of Lazio along the Garigliano river and is accessible from Rome by Autostrada A1 or SS7 Quatar (Via Domitiana). From either SS7 or Autostrada A1 take SS430 (Valle di Garigliano) to Castelforte. Upon reaching Castelforte follow the ”War Museum Gustav” brown street signs to the upper town center. Closest parking is near the intersection of Via Alfredo Fusco and Via Pozzillo adjacent to the town war memorials. The site is an easy 5 minute walk from parking.
