The site is located in a small roadside park about 1 kilometer north of the village Tendola (a frazione or neighborhood of the town of Fosdinovo) along road SS 446 (or SP72). The site is located in northern Tuscany in the Apuan Alps. The site overlooks Monte Musatello where the 442nd Regimental Combat Team fought in World War 2.
