Vauquois is a commune in the Meuse department in Grand Est in north-eastern France and was the site of violent mine warfare during WW1. The site is located about 20 kilometers north of the Clermont-en-Argonne Autoroute A4 (autoroute de l'Est) exit and is located in a church (Église de l'Immaculée conception) and next to the town school.The site is located at the intersection of Rue du Gén Deprez and Rue d'Orléans.
