The site is located in the small village of Rakovice. Rakovice is a municipality and village in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, about 20 kilometers north of Pisek and immediately adjacent to the town of Čimelice. The site is located at the intersection of Route 4 and Road 12118.
