The site includes two memorials remembering "Easy Company" of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment and the 326th Airborne Engineer Battalion that fought in Nuenen during Operation Market Garden in September 1944.

The site is located in Nuenen a town just northeast of Eindhoven along "Hells Highway". The site is located on the roadside next to a British Army Memorial (Monument Wederopstanding is Bevrijding) and is known locally as the Official Netherlands Easy Company Memorial. The site is located at the intersection of Europalaan & Parkstraat.
