Les Saisies Church
Description:
Outside the church is a war memorial which is a small pillar set on a stone base bearing 2 plaques on the monument and 2 more on the hillside in front of it, as well as an info sign nearby. The plaques are commemorating De Gaulle's speech, the French Resistance, and the Allied (OSS) para-drop, one of the largest of the war, known as the "Big Drop as part of Operation Union II.

The site is situated in Les Saisies, about 7.8km northwest of Hauteluce town hall. The site is the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Haute Lumière which is located at the D218B and Chemin de l’Echellier roundabout.
