A small private museum.

 

The museum remembers the crash and the crew memmbers of the B-24 'Hell's Angel (42-51139) of the 831st Bomber Squadron, 485th Bomber Group, 15th Air Force  that crashed nearby on September 13, 1944 after a mission to bomb the fuel industry sites in Silesia. A local historian brings this crew and mission to life with the displays remembering the crew and aircraft and other allied aviation missions over Poland in WW2. Many men of the 831st Bomber Squadron of the 485th Bomber Group were killed in the sinking of the SS Paul Hamilton on April 20, 1944.
