Saint Meloir des Ondes Liberation Monument
Details:
Behind the town church, by the Rue Notre Dame; next to the memorial remembering the crash of a B-17.
Two boulders, one large with a smooth plaque with red lettering carved into it, the other small with red lettering carved into it. Both commemorate the Allied invasion and liberation of the town in 1944.
