The collection is located inside the December 1944 Museum in La Gleize, Belgium. Museum The December 1944 Museum's collection focuses on both Allied and Axis artifacts from the Battle of the Bulge which occurred in the area around La Gleize during the winter of 1944-1945. Just outside of the museum's entrance, there is a German Royal Tiger Tank. Additional German artifacts include card-holders belonging to Joachim Peiper as well as infantry equipment. Other important parts of the collection include equipment and clothing from the 3rd U.S. Armored Division and the 82nd U.S. Airborne Division. The museum even possesses helmets which once belonged to General Matthew B. Ridgway and General George P. Howell.
