David Ramos Salazar was born on April 24, 1924. He was the son of Juan Salazar and Adela Salazar. David served in the 501st Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airbone Division as a Private First Class during World War II. He died on September 26, 1944 at the age of 20 and is now buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, Yavapai County, Arizona, USA. He was one of the brave American paratroopers of the 501st Inf who liberated the village of Eerde, The Netherlands from German forces.
