Charles O. Campbell was born on August 9, 1924. He served with the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group as a Flight Officer during World War II. Charles was killed in a training accident caused by a structural failure of his aircraft which was lost on August 17, 1944. He is buried now in the Riverside Cemetery, Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois, USA.
