Warren J. Doranski served in the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He had an engine failure over the English Channel and was declared Missing in Action on November 8, 1944. He is memorialized on the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, United Kingdom. He was one of the American airmen who lost their lives while based on the former airfield of Leiston in England during the war.
