Holsey C. Johnson, Jr. served in the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group as a Second Lieutenant during World War II. He was killed during his training but his current burial place is unknown. He was one of the American airmen who lost their lives while based on the former airfield of Leiston in England during the war.
