Ellis A. Rogers entered the military service in Oregon and served in the 363rd Fighter Squadron, 357th Fighter Group as a Captain during World War II. He was Killed in Action in the crash of his P-51 #42-106793 aircraft at Droegenbostel, Germany on May 8, 1944. CPT Rogers is buried now in the Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupr�, Belgium.
