Ralph H. Boyd was born on April 2, 1916 in Texas. He served in the 53rd Troop Carrier Squadron as a First Lieutenant during World War II. 1LT Boyd died on January 12, 1949, at the age of 32 and is now buried in the Greenwood Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, USA. He was one of the American servicemen who died during the Berlin Airlift operation from 1948 to 1949.
