Robert Porter Weaver was born on January 25, 1918. He served in the 1273rd Air Transport Squadron as a First Lieutenant during World War II. He was killed during the Berlin Airlift when his C-54 #45-563 crashed and burned 10 km, East of Fassberg, Germany. 1LT Weaver is buried now in the Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, USA.
