Pershing Hall - Paris

Description:

A trendy and expensive hotel/restaurant/bar (Hotel Pershing Hall) that occupies a building formerly of the American Legion Paris Post 1. Pershing Hall served as a center of American activity in Paris from after WWI until 1982. It had 55 rooms, housed numerous government organizations, and had a bar and gymnasium for its guests. The American Legion ceded control of the building to the Veterans Administration, who leased it to developers who run the hotel/restaurant. There are 10 memorials in the building.
