Croix Rouge Farm
Description:
Site of heavy fighting in July 1918. The 26th Division was stopped here on July 24th by heavy resistance from the Fere Forest. The farm was captured two days later by the 42d (Rainbow) Division after severe hand to hand fighting. The site remains undisturbed and much as it appeared in 1918.

On the D-3 just north of the Autoroute A-3. (There is no autoroute exit here.) The site is visible from the Autoroute rest area "Aire de Tardenois Nord".
