The rightmost plaque on the wall. Plaque An ivory colored enameled plaque with black German text listing the names of all the war dead, civilian and military from all nations, who were buried in the old town cemetery at this location during WWII.  The list includes 26 American soldiers and airmen killed in the area and originally buried here.
